Square Poison Bottles

1) Non-Branded Square Poisons

So far I have only found two colours of the 2oz square non-branded poison bottles:

There aren't that many examples of non-branded square poisons.  I am unsure what colours they will come in.  They do seem to be later in date having glass stoppers.  They have 3 panels of ribbing and not much other identifying them as a poison.

The square 2oz glass ones that I have found so far (from left to right) are as below:

 1)  Variation:  Amber, wide-mouth, ground glass stopper (missing unfortunately), no embossing

      On Front:  just ribbing

      On Shoulder:  blank

      On Bottom:  2

2)  Variation:  Green, rounded lip, ground glass stopper, no embossing

     On Front:  just ribbing

     On Shoulder:  blank

     On Bottom:  2

2) American Vapo-Cresoline Square Poisons

So far I have only found two colours of the 2oz Vapo-Cresoline poison bottles:

The Vapo Cresolene poisons are found in 3 sizes, 2oz is the smallest and the largest is very rare.  They are found in Cobalt blue, Cornflower blue, Aqua and later ones are found in Amber.  They have two plain sides and two with two rows of raised dots on each side of some embossing.  The lips are standard, slightly flared and would have contained cork stoppers.

The Vapo Cresolene 2oz glass ones that I have found so far (from left to right) are as below:

 1)  Variation:  Cobalt blue, standard lip, cork

      On Front:  VAPO CRESOLENE CO

      On Front left side:  PATD. US JULY 17, 94 ENG JUL 23, 94

      On Bottom:  blank

2)  Variation:  Aqua, standard lip, cork

      On Front:  VAPO CRESOLENE CO

      On Front left side:  PATD. US JULY 17, 94 ENG JUL 23, 94

      On Bottom:  blank
