You are welcome to contact me for just about anything to do with Berkshire and "old" Berkshire bottles.
Historically my focus used to be on both rare country-wide patent codd and hamilton bottles and any rare non-aqua coloured glass bottles, but over the years I have had to sell those to make ends meet due to my illness, something that I shall always dearly regret. I'm sure we have all had to make heart-breaking decisions on things that need to be sold from time to time. The remnants of my collection can be seen on the "POISON" page near the bottom.
Since ginger beer bottles are not pretty coloured glass bottles that are easy to display they tend to be the poor neighbour for collectors generally. Most can be picked up for just a few pounds each.
Having lived in Berkshire my whole life, collecting Berkshire ginger beers was the only realistic way I could keep some sort of bottle collection going.
I am personally particularly interested in stone ginger beer bottles from the region but I am also interested in any information on the history of the breweries around Berkshire. I have friends who collect absolutely everything antique bottle-wise from Berkshire and so you are welcome to contact me about that also. Any information that improves our knowledge of all Berkshire bottles (and indeed our collections!) will be much appreciated.
