Kilner Bros type patent poison bottles are a reasonably common poison bottle. They appear to come in mainly blue and less often in amber and aqua. The bottles vary widely in diameter width and height even for the same fl. oz. size bottles. Not all have the name KILNER on them and therefore it is difficult to establish whether they are actually made by Kilner Bros. Some are wide-mouth and some are Corbyn type lips. Later examples often have UGB on the bottom standing for "UNITED GLASS BLOWERS" often also with numbers beginning 102XX these are still probably Kilner Bros bottles. The pictures above show a good example of the variations in the 2oz bottles.
Patent no.'s vary from 559926-31 and dated from 1910.
